Mid Century Modern Kitchen Island

Projects like this are dream jobs - client brief was to custom fabricate a kitchen island in the style of their existing 60’s kitchen, using reclaimed parts of other cabinets, match existing wood tones, create more storage and integrate modern fixtures with plumbing and electrical. No problem!

This spacious MCM house in Merritt Island, Florida had original cabinetry, oven (still working!) and expansive original terrazzo floors.

We integrated drawer and door fronts from removed cabinets and created a solid wood, fluted wrap around, including under counter hidden storage.
