Scandinavian Modern Built-in Bookcase + Drawers

It is so satisfying when a project sticks the landing and this beast of a built-in did just that.

The client’s brief was a 14’ x 8’ custom built-in unit with upper bookcase, a workspace top and with (9) lower 10” deep soft close drawers. It is natural sealed white oak with horizontal grain match across the flush drawer fronts and vertical grain match on the doors. They wanted at least 50’ linear feet of shelving (it has 56’!) and the furthest left cabinet had to conceal a large printer. The hardware is 9’ bronze edge pulls.
