This project was a unique challenge as it was a custom built for a long-distance client on St George Island, Florida who planned on doing the installation. The design and fabrication considered that the client – who readily agreed his carpentry skills were limited – could install the units and still retain the built-in look.

Stealing a few flat pack ideas, we created the bookcases as assembled modular units for transporting and installation - dimmable, LED under-shelf lighting and behind the crown molding upper lighting was pre-installed. Shaker profile cabinets provided ample storage, adjustable shelves allowed for books and display space. Shiplap backing, crown molding, and a crisp white enamel completed the coastal design.
